After a three-year hiatus, DTG returned as the largest textile & garment industry events in Bangladesh. DTG 2023 – Dhaka Int’l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition has grandly returned from 15 to 18 February 2023 at ICCB – International Convention City Bashundhara, which is concurrent with DitaTex – Dhaka Int’l Textile & Apparel Accessories Exhibition and DYECHEM – Dhaka Int’l Dyeing & Chemical Industry Exhibition.
The 3-in-1 renowned exhibitions are jointly organized by BTMA – Bangladesh Textile Mills Association and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd., brought 1200 international brands from 35 countries & regions, occupied 1600 booths and filled up to 8 halls, 25,000 sqm space. Also had five international pavilions in China, India, Korea, Taiwan and Turkey, providing a one-stop platform for textile & garment production equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
Numerous distinguished guests welcomed to the opening ceremony, Mr. Salman F Rahman- Private Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister, Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin- President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Mr. Mohammad Ali Khokon- President of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and Judy Wang- the president of Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd.
Mr. Md Jashim Uddin said ‘’Bangladesh has a target to export $300 billion worth of merchandise by 2041.And innovative and sustainable garment items will help achieve the target.” Mr. Mohammad Ali Khokon, president of the BTMA, thanked the government for taking measures for importing liquefied natural gas to deal with the energy crunch. Ms. Judy Wang is extremely excited to see Bangladesh’s economic and infrastructure development are still positive despite facing the pandemic.
During 4-days, key companies included the likes of TRUETZSCHLER, SAURER, MURATA, CTMTC, ITEMA, PICANOL, STAUBLI, TOYOTA, LISKY, MAYER & CIE, PAI LUNG, SANTONI, BEWORTH, CIXING, SHIMA SEIKI, STOLL, KARL MAYER, ACME, FONG’S, MONFORTS, SON-TECH, THIES, M&R, MIMAKI, MS, OZ, COLORJET, IMA, KURIS, FK Group and TAJIMA. Establish a stronger cooperative relationship with over 37,060 visitors. Most visitors get high praise for the quantity and quality of exhibitions, which satisfy the demand for upskills and upgrade their services and solutions. Also extended to the series of innovation seminars that vibrantly captured opportunities in the local market and offered vital insights and analysis for the whole RMG supply chain.
